The Information Privacy Act 2009 applies to the Queensland public sector. The Act contains privacy principles which set out how agencies may and must handle personal information. Personal information means any information about an identifiable person.

The Office of the Queensland Parliamentary Counsel (OQPC), as the author of this website, is committed to protecting the privacy of its website users.
